「Meisheng 账号」是 MeiSheng Technology 的统一账号，美国驾考通、AI美语私教（以下称“美语私教”）和美声翻译电话共用，同一个账号可以登录这几个 App。账号由我们的账户中心（accounts.meisheng.us）统一管理。本政策说明账户中心收集哪些和你有关的数据、怎样使用和保存。

账户中心不含广告，不使用任何统计分析或追踪工具，不出售也不出租任何个人信息。
本政策说的手机号，都是 Meisheng 账号绑定的、你手机卡上的号码，不是美声翻译电话等 App 给你的虚拟电话号。
你可以在 App 里给 Meisheng 账号设一张头像和一个名字（别人看到你叫什么），各个 Meisheng App 共用。每个账号还有一个 MeiSheng ID，注册时自动给一个，你可以自己改：第一次随时能改，之后一年改一次。改掉的、删号释放的 ID，一年内不会给别人用，防止有人冒充你。
在一个 Meisheng App 里登录后，这个账号的登录会话、账号编号、邮箱（老用户也可能是用户名）和手机号会存进这台设备上各 Meisheng App 共用的钥匙串。这样别的 Meisheng App 打开时，可以显示「以 a***@gmail.com 继续」这样的按钮（只有手机号的账号显示「以 +1 (•••) •••-0123 继续」），要你点一下才会登录。共用的钥匙串只在这台设备上，不同步到 iCloud，换手机后要重新登录。在一个 App 里退出登录，不会让别的 App 退出。各 Meisheng App 还会在这个共用的钥匙串里存一个随机的 Meisheng 设备标识，不含个人信息，用来认出同一台设备、防止滥用（见上文「防止滥用的记录」「IP 地址」和下文「账号被关闭」）。钥匙串由 iPhone、iPad 的系统保管：卸载 Meisheng App 不一定会删掉存在里面的登录和设备标识，重新安装后可能还在；在一个 App 里删除它的数据也不会删掉它们。登录会话失效以后（例如点了「退出所有设备」或删除了账号），就不能再用来登录，Meisheng App 发现后会把它从钥匙串里删掉。设备标识在退出登录、删除账号时都不会删，会一直留在这台设备上。要把它们全部清掉，可以在设备上抹掉所有内容和设置（恢复出厂设置）。
如果你在不同 App 里用不同的邮箱各注册了一个 Meisheng 账号，可以在 App 的账号安全页里合并：先证明另一个账号也是你的（邮件或短信验证码、那个账号的密码，或通过 Apple、Google 验证），再把它并进当前账号。合并后，两个账号在各 App 里的记录合在一起；你选一个邮箱留下，另一个邮箱从账号上去掉，不能再用来登录。
账户中心在 MeiSheng Technology 租用的位于美国的服务器上，App 与服务器之间的通信全程加密（HTTPS）。账户中心的日志不记录密码、验证码和登录凭据，邮箱和手机号只记打码后的样子（例如 a***@example.com、+1******0123）。账号邮件由我们的邮件服务器发出，发往部分邮箱服务商时会经由邮件投递服务商转发，它们只用于投递这封邮件。只有你选择通过 Apple 或 Google 登录时，Apple 或 Google 才参与登录；只有你用手机号登录或绑定手机号时，Twilio 才会收到你的号码，为我们发送验证码短信；你使用美声翻译电话的推荐奖励时，Twilio 还会收到你的号码，为我们核对号码类型。账户中心会把你的账号编号、邮箱和账号状态告诉你用过的 Meisheng App 的服务器，让它们把记录对应到你的账号；你设了名字、MeiSheng ID 和头像的，也把名字、ID 和头像的限时看图地址交给它们，由各 App 按自己的规则给别人看（见上文「头像、名字和 MeiSheng ID」）。你上传头像、改名字或 MeiSheng ID 时，Google 的 Gemini 会收到处理后的图片或那几个字，为我们做自动检查。除此之外，我们不与任何第三方共享你的数据，法律要求的情形除外。

A Meisheng Account is one account from MeiSheng Technology for US Driver Test (美国驾考通), Mae Tutor (AI美语私教) and MeiSheng Call (美声翻译电话): the same account signs in to all of them. Accounts are managed by our account center (accounts.meisheng.us). This policy describes what personal data the account center collects and how it is used and kept. What you do in each app (such as practice records, learning records or call records) is kept on that app's own server, not in the account center, and is covered by that app's privacy policy: meisheng.us/cadriving/privacy for US Driver Test, maetutor.com/privacy for Mae Tutor, and meisheng.us/call/privacy for MeiSheng Call. The account center has no advertising and uses no analytics or tracking tools, and we never sell or rent personal information.
What we collect when you sign up or sign in. Your email, used to sign in and to send verification codes and account notices (when you sign up, reset or change your password, verify or change your email, or delete or merge your account); these emails come from "Meisheng Account" (account@meisheng.us), and we never send marketing email. Your phone number, if you sign in with it or add it on an app's Account Security page, used only for signing in and account security (for example, verifying again before deleting your account); only U.S. numbers are supported for now; see "Phone numbers and verification texts" below. An account made with a phone number needs no email or password. Your password, stored only as a salted hash we cannot read; if you use Apple, Google or your phone number you don't need one. If you registered with US Driver Test or Mae Tutor before Meisheng Accounts existed, your old username is kept in the account center and still signs you in to that app. With Sign in with Apple, we receive your email and your Apple user identifier, used only to sign you in; we don't ask Apple for your name. The email may be an Apple private relay address (Hide My Email), in which case our emails reach you through Apple. So that we can revoke the authorization with Apple when you delete your Meisheng Account, we keep, encrypted, the token Apple issues to us. See Apple's privacy policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). With Sign in with Google, we receive your email and your Google account identifier, used only to sign you in; we do not receive your name or profile picture, take no other data from Google, and keep no Google tokens. See Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Each sign-in creates a session in the account center, stored only as a hash, with the sign-in method and when it was created and last used; it expires after 365 days without use. The account center also records which Meisheng apps the account has used and when each was first used. IP addresses. Each time you sign up or sign in, the account center records the IP address, source port and time, which app was used, and the device's Meisheng device identifier (see "Meisheng apps on the same device" below), used to keep accounts secure, detect and prevent abuse, and respond to lawful requests from law enforcement. These records are deleted after 90 days, even if you delete your account sooner. Where an account is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) for child sexual exploitation, the related records are kept separately, encrypted, for one year with the report.
Phone numbers and verification texts. In this policy, your phone number means the mobile number of your own phone linked to your Meisheng Account, not a virtual number an app such as MeiSheng Call gives you. When you enter your own U.S. mobile number in an app and tap Send Code, we text a one-time verification code to that number, to sign you in, to add or change your number, or to verify you again before deleting or merging your account or changing your email. When a family member asks for your consent to discuss your health matters through MeiSheng Call, you enter your own number on our consent page and we text you a code to confirm that it is you; you do not need a Meisheng Account for this, the account center records that text like any other (see below), and the consent itself is kept as described in the MeiSheng Call Privacy Policy. Each tap sends at most one text. We do not send advertising or marketing texts. See the Meisheng Account SMS Terms. Verification texts are sent for us by Twilio, which receives your number to send them (and, for MeiSheng Call's referral rewards, to check its line type; see below); see Twilio's privacy policy (twilio.com/legal/privacy). A code works once and for 10 minutes; we do not keep codes in readable form. To prevent abuse, the account center records, for each code sent, the number, time, purpose, which app asked, the account if you were signed in, the IP address, a random device identifier generated by the app (shared by the Meisheng apps on the same device, containing no personal information), and whether the code was used (for the consent page, the page instead of an account or device identifier); these records are kept for 90 days and used only to limit sending, detect abuse and check costs. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties; only the service provider that sends the texts for us (Twilio) receives your number, solely to send them and, when MeiSheng Call's referral rewards need it, to check the number's line type (see below). Reply STOP to stop receiving our texts and START to receive them again; reply HELP, or email support@meisheng.us, for help. While you have opted out you cannot receive codes, and can sign in with email, Apple or Google instead. Your number is kept in the account center; the apps' servers normally do not receive it, only whether the account has a verified number, and an app that needs your number for a feature will explain why and ask you to confirm first. For example, in MeiSheng Call, when the other person on a call asks for your phone number, the app first asks you on screen, and only after you tap Allow does your phone read the number out to them. Your phone gets the number directly from the account center, and this feature does not give the number itself to MeiSheng Call's servers; the spoken number, like everything else said on the call, passes through MeiSheng Call's call servers and the phone carrier to the other person, and the servers neither recognize nor store it. The call transcript records that sentence only as "[phone number]"; if the other person repeats the number, what they say is transcribed as usual. See the MeiSheng Call Privacy Policy. Referral rewards. MeiSheng Call's referral rewards count each real mobile number once and do not count virtual numbers. For this, the account center tells MeiSheng Call's servers two things, never the number itself: a code computed from your number with a secret key (always the same in MeiSheng Call, different in every other app, and not reversible into the number), and whether it is a real mobile number, which the account center checks by asking Twilio for the number's line type and keeps for 180 days. MeiSheng Call may also ask whether a given number is your phone number; the account center answers only yes or no and neither stores nor logs the number asked about. Finding you by phone number. In MeiSheng Call, someone can enter a number, or pick one from their contacts, to find a person; or, after reading an explanation and tapping Allow, they can have MeiSheng Call send the phone numbers in their contacts to us once to see who in their contacts uses it. Either way, MeiSheng Call's server asks the account center whether those numbers belong to MeiSheng Call users who can be found. The account center answers only with those accounts; the numbers are compared in memory only, never stored or logged, and no profile is created for anyone who does not use our services. Looking up one number at a time is limited to 50 numbers a day per person; matching a whole address book requires verifying your own phone number first, happens again only when the address book changes, and is limited in how often and how many numbers a day, so that no one can use a fake address book to find our users in bulk. For this, the account center counts how many numbers each account, device and IP address matches each day (counts only, no numbers, deleted after the next day); how many accounts matched the same user on a given day is counted in memory only and never stored. When we see unusual activity, we record which account, device and IP address and how many numbers (never the numbers themselves) and keep that for 90 days to deal with abuse. This is controlled by "Phone number" under Settings > Friend Permissions > Ways to Add Me in MeiSheng Call, which is on by default; you can turn it off at any time, and it is also turned off when you delete your MeiSheng Call data. Then no one can find you by your number, either by entering it or by matching their contacts.
Profile photo, name and MeiSheng ID. In an app, you can give your Meisheng Account a profile photo and a name (what others see you called); they are shared by the Meisheng apps. Each account also has a MeiSheng ID, assigned when you sign up, which you can change yourself: the first time whenever you like, then once a year. An ID you give up, or one released when an account is deleted, is not given to anyone else for a year, so no one can use it to pose as you. When you upload a photo, it is cropped square and resized to 512×512, and its photo data (including where it was taken) is removed. Before we save a photo, a name or an ID you choose, we send the processed image or the text to Google's Gemini to check automatically for sexual, violent or offensive content, or words that pretend to be official; anything that fails is not saved. We use the paid service, and Google does not use this content to train its models. Your photo has no public address, and no one can search for it by phone number, name or email; each app decides who can see it under its own rules (in MeiSheng Call, for example, only people you have been connected with on a call or have exchanged messages with). Your name and MeiSheng ID are shown to people who find you, or are in touch with you, in an app. In an app you use, someone who enters your MeiSheng ID can find you and see your name; whether they also see your photo depends on that app's rules. This is set separately in each app, on by default, and can be turned off in that app's settings (in MeiSheng Call, "MeiSheng ID" under Settings > Friend Permissions > Ways to Add Me); each person can look up at most 50 IDs a day, so IDs cannot be looked up in bulk, and the IDs looked up are not logged. Others can report your photo, name or MeiSheng ID in an app. We record who reported it, in which app, the reason given and when, and review it ourselves; a photo that breaks our rules is removed, a name is cleared, an ID is replaced with one we assign, and if needed the account is stopped from changing them again. The reason and the reported name or ID are deleted 1 year after the report is handled; who reported whom, when, and how it was handled are kept separately, and deleting an account does not delete them early. You can change or remove your photo, and clear your name, at any time. When you delete your whole Meisheng Account, your photo and name are deleted and your ID is released (not given to anyone else for a year).
Meisheng apps on the same device. After you sign in to one Meisheng app, the account's session, account number, email (or old username) and phone number are saved in a keychain shared by the Meisheng apps on this device, so another Meisheng app can show a button such as "Continue as a***@gmail.com" (for an account with only a phone number, "Continue as +1 (•••) •••-0123"); it signs in only when you tap it. The shared keychain stays on this device and is not synced to iCloud; on a new phone you sign in again. Signing out of one app does not sign you out of the others. The Meisheng apps also keep a random Meisheng device identifier in this shared keychain; it contains no personal information and is used to recognize the same device and prevent abuse (see "Phone numbers and verification texts" and "IP addresses" above and "Closed accounts" below). The keychain is kept by iOS: uninstalling a Meisheng app does not necessarily remove the sign-in or the device identifier stored there, and they may still be there after you reinstall; deleting one app's data does not remove them either. Once a session stops working (for example after Sign Out Everywhere or deleting your account), it can no longer be used to sign in, and a Meisheng app removes it from the keychain when it finds this. Signing out and deleting your account do not remove the device identifier; it stays on the device. To remove them completely, erase the device (Erase All Content and Settings). If you created separate Meisheng Accounts with different emails in different apps, you can merge them on an app's Account Security page: once you prove the other account is yours (an email or text code, its password, or Apple or Google), it is merged into the current one and both accounts' records in each app are combined; you choose which email to keep, and the other is removed from the account and can no longer be used to sign in.
Storage and sharing. The account center is on servers rented by MeiSheng Technology in the United States, and data is transmitted over HTTPS. Its logs never record passwords, verification codes or sign-in credentials, and show emails and phone numbers only masked (such as a***@example.com or +1******0123). Account emails are sent from our mail server and may be relayed by an email delivery provider solely to deliver them. Apple or Google take part in signing in only if you choose Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google; Twilio receives your phone number, to text you verification codes for us, only if you sign in with or add a phone number, and, to check its line type for us, when you use MeiSheng Call's referral rewards. The account center gives the servers of the Meisheng apps you use your account number, email and account status, so they can match your records to your account, and, if you have set them, your name, your MeiSheng ID and a time-limited link to your photo, which each app shows to others under its own rules (see "Profile photo, name and MeiSheng ID" above). When you upload a photo or change your name or MeiSheng ID, Google's Gemini receives the processed image or the text to check it for us. We do not share your data with anyone else except where required by law.
Retention and deletion. Your Meisheng Account data (email, phone number, password hash, linked Apple or Google accounts, sessions, photo, name and MeiSheng ID) is kept until you delete the whole Meisheng Account; you can change or remove your phone number on an app's Account Security page at any time (removing it requires another way to sign in: a password, Apple or Google). Records of verification texts are kept for 90 days. Delete Meisheng Account, on the Account Security page of any Meisheng app: after you verify again (your password; without one, a code sent to your email or phone; or Apple or Google), the account center at once deletes your email, phone number, password, old username, linked Apple and Google accounts, photo, name and all sessions, and releases your MeiSheng ID (not given to anyone else for a year), keeping only a record with no email or other personal information (the account's random number, status and dates), and tells every Meisheng app you used to delete all your data on its server, retrying until each has done so. One exception: if you used MeiSheng Call, the account center gives MeiSheng Call your verified phone number, which MeiSheng Call keeps separately, with your account number and the time of deletion, for 90 days, only to prevent abuse and to answer call tracebacks and law enforcement requests, and then deletes (see the MeiSheng Call Privacy Policy). The same applies when you delete only your MeiSheng Call data. If Apple is linked, we also revoke the Sign in with Apple authorization with Apple. The email and phone number can then be used to register anew. In the records of verification texts, the number is replaced by an irreversible hash, kept only to prevent abuse and deleted after 90 days. Report records are kept as described under "Profile photo, name and MeiSheng ID". To delete one app's data but keep your Meisheng Account, use Delete This App's Data in that app; see that app's privacy policy. Sign Out Everywhere, on the Account Security page, signs every Meisheng app out of the account on every iPhone and iPad; you then sign in again. Closed accounts. If an account breaks our terms of use, we may close the whole Meisheng Account: it can no longer sign in to any Meisheng app, and its email, phone number and devices cannot be used to sign up again. We do not give the reason. For child sexual exploitation, we keep the related material separately, encrypted, and report it to NCMEC (see "IP addresses" above). Copies in server backups are removed within 35 days as backups rotate.
Your rights. You can view and delete your account data in the apps at any time. To export or correct your data, or to delete an account you can no longer sign in to, email support@meisheng.us; we respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK, we process this data to provide the services you chose (your Meisheng Account and signing in); you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Your data is stored in the United States.
Children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 and will delete it if we learn we have.
Changes and contact. We will update this page and its effective date if this policy changes, and point out material changes to how we use data in the apps. MeiSheng Technology, support@meisheng.us.
