美国驾考通（英文名 US Driver Test，以下称“本 App”）不登录也能使用全部练题功能，只有「问 AI」需要登录。不登录时，你的做题记录只保存在你的设备上，我们收不到。只有当你自愿注册或登录 Meisheng 账号（登录后做题记录会自动同步）、使用「问 AI」、提交反馈，或在登录时把单词、句子加入美语私教，我们才会收到下面列出的和你有关的数据；另外，为了防止题库被批量下载，App 联网时会用到一个不含个人信息的设备标识（见「题库下载与设备验证」）。本 App 不含广告，不使用任何统计分析或追踪工具，不出售也不出租任何个人信息。
本 App 的账号是「Meisheng 账号」：MeiSheng Technology 的统一账号，美国驾考通和 AI美语私教（以下称“美语私教”）共用，同一个账号可以登录这两个 App。账号由我们的账户中心（accounts.meisheng.us）统一管理：你的邮箱、手机号、密码的哈希值、关联的 Apple 或 Google 账号标识和登录会话都存在账户中心。
各 App 的学习数据存在各自的服务器上：你在本 App 里的做题记录、问 AI 等存在本 App 的服务器上，不存在账户中心。本 App 的服务器另外只保存你的账号编号、邮箱的副本和一个用户 ID（老用户是原来的用户名，新用户由邮箱 @ 前面的部分生成；只用手机号、没有邮箱的，由“user”加账号编号的前几位生成；显示在「我」页），用来把记录对应到你的账号。本 App 的服务器收不到你的手机号。
如果你在两个 App 里用不同的邮箱各注册了一个 Meisheng 账号，可以在「我 → 设置 → 账号安全 → 合并另一个 Meisheng 账号」里，先证明另一个账号也是你的（邮件验证码、那个账号的密码，或通过 Apple、Google 验证），再把它并进当前账号。合并后，两个账号在各 App 里的记录合在一起；你选一个邮箱留下，另一个邮箱从账号上去掉，不能再用来登录；这个邮箱验证过的，会收到一封通知。
登录后，你的做题记录、错题、收藏、练习记录、模拟考成绩和 App 设置（包括你设的昵称和选的头像）会上传到本 App 的服务器，用于在你登录同一账号的设备（例如 iPhone 和 iPad）之间同步。这些数据只用于提供同步功能，不用于其他目的。
「问 AI」要登录后才能用，第一次使用前 App 会说明并征得你的同意。你提问时，你写的问题、所问的那道题和回答语言会发到我们的服务器，和你的账号关联保存；服务器再把问题连同这道题、解析和手册相关内容，通过 Gemini API 发给 Google LLC，由它的 Gemini 模型生成回答。Google 作为我们的服务商，只为生成回答和匿名改写处理这些内容，详见 Gemini API 条款（ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms）和 Google 隐私政策（policies.google.com/privacy）。如果以后改用别的 AI 服务商，我们会先更新本政策。请不要在问题里写姓名、电话等个人信息。
问题和回答保存在我们的服务器上，你可以在对应题目下面看到自己问过的；删除本 App 的数据或整个 Meisheng 账号时立即一起删除。只有你选择了「同意，可以匿名分享」（之后可以在「我 → 设置 → 个人信息与权限」里关掉），服务器才会在回答之后，把这次问答再交给同一个 AI 服务商，改写成不含你原话和任何个人信息的问答，公开显示在这道题下面的「他人提问」里，其他用户都能看到；AI 判断不适合公开的不会显示。公开的问答不显示你的账号或任何个人信息；在你删除本 App 的数据或整个 Meisheng 账号之前，我们在内部保留这条问答来自哪次提问，只用来处理举报，删除后不再关联，公开的问答仍会保留。被举报的会自动隐藏，我们也会定期检查并删除不当内容，对滥用的账号会停止其分享或问 AI。你对「他人提问」点「有用」或举报，会记在设备标识下，只用来防止重复计数和处理举报。
本 App 的题目放在我们的服务器上，练到哪些题就下载哪些题，下载过的题加密保存在你的设备上，没网也能练。为了防止题库被恶意批量下载，App 第一次联网时会通过苹果的 App Attest 服务向我们证明它是正版 App，我们会为这台设备上的本 App 记录一个随机生成的设备标识，以及它下载过哪些题，用来执行每天的下载上限。这个标识不包含你的姓名、手机号或苹果账号信息，也不与你的账号关联；超过 90 天没有使用的设备记录会被删除。登录后下载题目时，我们还会在你的账号下记录下载过哪些题，只用来执行每个账号每天的下载上限；这份记录随账号保存，删除本 App 的数据或整个 Meisheng 账号时一起删除。
你在题目解析下面点「题目有问题？点这里反馈」，或在「我 → 设置 → 帮助与反馈 → 在线反馈」里提交反馈时，你选的原因和写的文字会发到本 App 的服务器，连同 App 自动带上的题号（对 App 的一般反馈没有题号）、题库版本、考试州、显示语言和 App 版本号一起保存。提交反馈不用登录：没登录时只和上文的设备标识关联；登录时只和你的账号关联，不记设备标识。反馈只用来核对和改正题目、改进 App，不用于其他目的，也不提供给任何第三方。请不要在反馈里写姓名、电话等个人信息。登录时提交的反馈随账号保存，删除本 App 的数据或整个 Meisheng 账号时一起删除；没登录时提交的反馈会保留，用来核对题目，设备记录超过 90 天没用被删除后，它就不再和任何设备关联。
选考试州时，如果你允许 App 使用位置，App 会用这台设备的大致位置找出你所在的州，显示在州列表最上面，由你自己点选确认。位置只用来选州，不会发到我们的服务器，也不保存；把大致位置换算成州名时，iOS 会向苹果的地图服务查询。不允许也能照常手动选州，可以随时在 iOS「设置 → 隐私与安全性 → 定位服务 → 美国驾考通」里更改。
账户中心、本 App 和美语私教的服务器都在 MeiSheng Technology 租用的位于美国的服务器上，App 与服务器之间的通信全程加密（HTTPS）。账户中心的日志不记录密码、验证码和登录凭据，邮箱只记打码后的样子（例如 a***@example.com）。账号邮件由我们的邮件服务器发出，发往部分邮箱服务商时会经由邮件投递服务商转发，它们只用于投递这封邮件。只有你选择通过 Apple 或 Google 登录时，Apple 或 Google 才参与登录；只有你用手机号登录或绑定手机号时，Twilio 才会收到你的号码，为我们发送验证码短信。使用「问 AI」时，问题会按上文发给 Google 生成回答。美语私教是我们自己的 App，你选择加入美语私教的单词和句子按上文交给它。除此之外，我们不与任何第三方共享你的数据，法律要求的情形除外。
你可以随时在 App 里查看和删除自己的数据。如需导出数据、更正信息，或在无法登录时要求删除账号，请写信至 support@meisheng.us，我们会在 30 天内处理。
如果你位于欧洲经济区或英国：我们处理上述数据的法律依据是为你提供你所选用的服务，包括 Meisheng 账号、记录同步，以及把你加入的单词和句子转给美语私教；「问 AI」和匿名分享的依据是你的同意，你可以随时停止使用或关掉分享；你主动提交的反馈，依据是我们核对和改正题目、改进 App 的正当利益。你有权访问、更正、删除、导出你的数据，有权反对或限制处理，也有权向你所在地的数据保护机构投诉。你的数据存放在美国。
本 App 面向准备美国各州驾照笔试的人。我们不会有意收集 13 岁以下儿童的个人信息；如果发现收集了，会立即删除。
如果本政策有变化，我们会更新本页并修改上方的生效日期；涉及数据用途的重大变化会在 App 里提示。

All practice features work without an account; only Ask AI needs one. Without an account, your practice data stays on your device and we do not receive it. Questions are downloaded from our server as you practice them and kept encrypted on your device for offline use. To prevent bulk scraping, the app proves it is genuine through Apple's App Attest the first time it connects; we keep a randomly generated identifier for the app on your device and which questions it has downloaded, to enforce daily download limits. This identifier contains no name, phone number, or Apple Account information, is not linked to your account, and is deleted after 90 days of inactivity. When you are signed in, we also record which questions your account has downloaded, only to enforce the daily download limit per account; this record is kept with your account and deleted when you delete this app's data or your Meisheng Account. The app has no advertising and uses no analytics or tracking tools, and we never sell or rent personal information.
Meisheng Account. Your account in this app is a Meisheng Account: one account from MeiSheng Technology for both US Driver Test and Mae Tutor (AI美语私教), so the same account signs in to both apps. Accounts are managed by our account center (accounts.meisheng.us), which stores your email, your phone number, a hash of your password, the identifiers of any linked Apple or Google account, and your sign-in sessions. Each app keeps its learning data on its own server: your practice records and Ask AI history are on this app's server, not in the account center. Besides them, this app's server keeps only your account number, a copy of your email, and a user ID (your old username if you had one; otherwise made from the part of your email before the @, or, for an account with only a phone number and no email, "user" followed by the first characters of your account number; shown on the Me page) to match your records to your account. This app's server does not receive your phone number.
What we collect when you sign up or sign in. Your email, used to sign in and to send verification codes and account notices (when you sign up, reset or change your password, verify or change your email, or delete or merge your account); these emails come from "Meisheng Account" (account@meisheng.us), and we never send marketing email. Your phone number, if you sign in with it or add it in Me → Settings → Account Security, used only for signing in and account security (for example, verifying again before deleting your account); only U.S. numbers are supported for now. Verification codes are texted for us by Twilio, which receives your number only to send and check the codes; see Twilio's privacy policy (twilio.com/legal/privacy). We never use your number for advertising and never sell it. To prevent abuse of verification texts, the account center records the number, time, IP address and a random device identifier generated by the app (shared by the Meisheng apps on the same device, containing no personal information) for each code sent, and keeps these records for 90 days. An account made with a phone number needs no email or password. Your password, stored only as a salted hash we cannot read; if you use Apple, Google or your phone number you don't need one. If you registered before Meisheng Accounts existed, your old username is kept in the account center and still signs you in to this app. With Sign in with Apple, we receive your email and your Apple user identifier, used only to sign you in; we don't ask Apple for your name. The email may be an Apple private relay address (Hide My Email), in which case our emails reach you through Apple. So that we can revoke the authorization with Apple when you delete your Meisheng Account, we keep, encrypted, the token Apple issues to us. See Apple's privacy policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). With Sign in with Google, we receive your email and your Google account identifier, used only to sign you in; we do not receive your name or profile picture, take no other data from Google, and keep no Google tokens. See Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Each sign-in creates a session in the account center, stored only as a hash, with the sign-in method and when it was created and last used; it expires after 365 days without use. The account center also records which Meisheng apps the account has used and when each was first used.
If you created separate Meisheng Accounts with different emails in the two apps, you can merge them in Me → Settings → Account Security → Merge another Meisheng Account (合并另一个 Meisheng 账号): once you prove the other account is yours (an email code, its password, or Apple or Google), it is merged into the current one and both accounts' records in each app are combined. You choose which email to keep; the other is removed from the account and can no longer be used to sign in; if it was verified, it receives a notice.
What the two apps share. Sign-in: after you sign in to one app, the account's session, account number, email (or old username) and phone number are saved in a keychain shared by the two apps on this device, so the other app can show a button such as "Continue as a***@gmail.com" (for an account with only a phone number, "Continue as +1 (•••) •••-0123"); it signs in only when you tap it. The shared keychain stays on this device and is not synced to iCloud; on a new phone you sign in again. Signing out of one app does not sign you out of the other. Words and sentences for Mae Tutor: when you tap Add to Mae Tutor or Add to Mae Tutor word list on a question, the word or sentence, together with the question text it came from and its Chinese translation, the question's state and number, the time you added it, and the Chinese script you use, is saved in a folder shared by the two apps on this device, which Mae Tutor reads when it opens. While you are signed in to a Meisheng Account, these items are also sent to this app's server, which passes them to Mae Tutor's server under your account so that Mae Tutor on your other devices gets them too. Our server deletes them once passed on (anything it cannot pass on is kept at most 180 days); Mae Tutor's server keeps them at most 180 days until the Mae Tutor app collects them. Once in Mae Tutor, they are handled under Mae Tutor's privacy policy (maetutor.com/privacy). Not shared: your practice records, mistakes, favorites, test results and Ask AI questions are not given to Mae Tutor, and this app does not read your learning data in Mae Tutor.
Synced practice records. While you are signed in, your practice history, mistakes, favorites, practice and exam records, and app settings (including the nickname and avatar you pick) are uploaded to this app's server so they sync between your devices; they are used for nothing else.
Ask AI and Others' Questions. Ask AI requires an account, and the app asks for your consent before first use. When you ask, your question, the practice question it is about and the answer language are sent to our server and stored with your account; the server sends your question, together with the practice question, its explanation and the related handbook material, through the Gemini API to Google LLC, whose Gemini model writes the answer. Google processes this content as our service provider only to produce the answer and the anonymized rewrite; see the Gemini API terms (ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms) and Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). If we switch to another AI provider, we will update this policy first. Please don't include your name, phone number or other personal details. Questions and answers are kept on our server, where you can see your own under each question, and are deleted at once when you delete this app's data or your Meisheng Account. Only if you chose "Agree, and share them anonymously" (you can turn this off in Me → Settings → Privacy & Permissions), after answering, the server sends the exchange to the same AI provider to rewrite it as a question-and-answer without your words or any personal details, shown publicly to other users under that question's Others' Questions; exchanges the AI judges unsuitable are not shown. Published entries never show your account or any personal details; until you delete this app's data or your Meisheng Account we keep, internally, which question an entry came from, only to handle reports, and that link goes when you do, while the published entry remains. Reported entries are hidden automatically; we review entries regularly, remove inappropriate ones, and may stop an abusive account from sharing or using Ask AI. Marking an entry helpful or reporting it is recorded under the device identifier, only to count it once and handle the report.
Feedback. When you send feedback, from "Something wrong with this question? Tell us" under an explanation or from Me → Settings → Help & Feedback → Send Feedback, the reason you pick and the text you write are sent to this app's server and stored with what the app adds automatically: the question number (none for feedback about the app in general), the question bank version, your test state, the display language and the app version. No account is needed: without one, feedback is linked only to the device identifier described above; while you are signed in, it is linked only to your account, without the device identifier. Feedback is used only to check and correct questions and to improve the app, for nothing else, and is not shared with anyone. Please don't include your name, phone number or other personal details. Feedback sent while signed in is kept with your account and deleted when you delete this app's data or your Meisheng Account; feedback sent without an account is kept to check questions, and is no longer linked to any device once the device record is deleted after 90 days of inactivity.
Location (choosing your state). If you allow it, the app uses your device's approximate location to find the state you're in and shows it at the top of the state list for you to confirm. Your location is used only to pick the state; it is not sent to our server or stored. To turn the approximate location into a state name, iOS looks it up with Apple's map service. You can always choose a state yourself without allowing location, and can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → US Driver Test.
Storage and sharing. The account center, this app's server and Mae Tutor's server are on servers rented by MeiSheng Technology in the United States, and data is transmitted over HTTPS. The account center's logs never record passwords, verification codes or sign-in credentials, and show emails only masked (such as a***@example.com). Account emails are sent from our mail server and may be relayed by an email delivery provider solely to deliver them. Apple or Google take part in signing in only if you choose Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google; Twilio receives your phone number, to text you verification codes for us, only if you sign in with or add a phone number. Ask AI questions are sent to Google as described above. Mae Tutor is our own app; the words and sentences you choose to add go to it as described above. We do not share your data with anyone else except where required by law.
Retention and deletion. Your Meisheng Account data (email, phone number, password hash, linked Apple or Google accounts, sessions) is kept until you delete the whole Meisheng Account; you can change or remove your phone number in Account Security at any time (removing it requires another way to sign in: a password, Apple or Google). Records of verification texts are kept for 90 days. This app's synced records, the record of questions your account has downloaded, your Ask AI questions and answers, and feedback sent while signed in are kept until you delete this app's data or your Meisheng Account; published anonymous Others' Questions remain, and feedback sent without an account is kept as described under Feedback. Delete This App's Data: in the app, My Progress (我的进度) → your avatar at the top right → Settings (设置) → Account Security (账号安全) → Delete This App's Data (删除本 App 的数据). After you confirm and enter your password (without a password, verify again with Apple, Google or a code texted to your phone), your practice records, test results, Ask AI history, feedback sent while signed in and download record on this app's server, and the records on this device, are deleted at once, and the account center no longer records that you use this app. Your Meisheng Account and your Mae Tutor data (including words and sentences already passed on) are kept; you can still sign in, starting fresh. Delete Meisheng Account (删除整个 Meisheng 账号), on the same page: after you verify again (your password; without one, a code sent to your email or phone; or Apple or Google), the account center at once deletes your email, phone number, password, old username, linked Apple and Google accounts and all sessions, keeping only a record with no email or other personal information (the account's random number, status and dates), and tells this app and Mae Tutor to delete all your data on their servers, retrying until each has done so. If Apple is linked, we also revoke the Sign in with Apple authorization with Apple. Neither app can sign in with the account again, and the email and phone number can be used to register anew. In the records of verification texts, the number is replaced by an irreversible hash, kept only to prevent abuse and deleted after 90 days. Copies in server backups are removed within 35 days as backups rotate. Sign Out (退出登录) in Settings signs out of this app on this device only: the records on this device are cleared but stay in your account, so signing in again brings them back, and Mae Tutor on this device stays signed in. Sign Out Everywhere (退出所有设备) in Account Security signs US Driver Test and Mae Tutor out of the account on every iPhone and iPad; you then sign in again. Settings → Storage (存储空间) → Clear Practice Records (清除做题记录) clears your records, and while you are signed in also those in your account and on your other devices. Without an account, deleting the app deletes its practice records on the device; words and sentences added for Mae Tutor stay in the shared folder while Mae Tutor is installed on the device. If you stop using Sign in with Apple for this app in your Apple Account settings, or delete your Apple Account, devices signed in with Apple are signed out (and if the Apple Account is deleted, the Apple link is removed), but your Meisheng Account and data are not deleted; use the options above to delete them.
Your rights. You can view and delete your data in the app at any time. To export or correct your data, or to delete an account you can no longer sign in to, email support@meisheng.us; we respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK, we process this data to provide the services you chose, including the Meisheng Account, sync, and passing the words and sentences you add to Mae Tutor, and Ask AI and anonymous sharing on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by not using them or turning sharing off; feedback you choose to send is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in checking and correcting questions and improving the app; you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Your data is stored in the United States.
Children. The app is meant for people preparing for U.S. driver's license knowledge tests. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 and will delete it if we learn we have.
Changes and contact. We will update this page and its effective date if this policy changes. MeiSheng Technology, support@meisheng.us.
